Added 2024-07-13 01:24:07 +0000 UTCAll alone in Rome… flash back Friday It’s funny… I used to say it sucked living overseas in Italy during Covid but then again.. when you really think about it … when we did get to travel a couple months out of the year starting in 2021- it was still empty… & it was almost still empty when we left in 2023.. & I don’t know about you but I don’t know many people having a photo damn near alone at each of these spots & that’s just so perfect for me & my personality. This was honestly bliss. I don’t know that I would have had the experience I did if it had been shoulder to shoulder. I’m glad I experienced it when I did. Something you probably dont know about me & definitely probably don’t assume is that I love being alone. Doing my own thing. I really don’t like crowds. It’s quiet. It’s less chaos. I focus. I work on myself. I keep my head down. I like it this way. Growing up you could find me in the back of our 5 acres by the pond all alone where the frogs were friendly & it felt like the fireflies came out to shine just for me under the sycamore trees.
