My name is Jayde, I’m a plus-sized 24 year old from the mountains of Maryland just east of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. I spent a great deal of my childhood and most of my adolescence swimming in the Shenandoah river and learning to play my guitar on the shore 🎶
I’ve had a lot of trials up to this point, and I’m still trying to work my way out of homelessness after disaster after disaster. Working is hard for me, I used to wait tables but I have an autoimmune disease and connective tissue disorder that makes my joints deteriorate, I basically worked my body into the ground just from 5 years of waiting tables and bar tending. Even trying to find a desk job is hard because no where wants to pay a living wage.
So here I am! Just trying to make my way in the world, have fun doing it, and fulfill my passion of making people happy!
My hobbies include playing guitar and writing my own songs, writing poetry, crocheting, gardening, reading, river-rattin’, and bar hopping, mostly anywhere there’s karaoke 🎤 😉
