I have capsular contracture (hardening of the scar tissue surrounding the implant), that if left alone, can lead to odd, misshapen breasts and can become painful. The left one is feeling hard and sits slightly higher due to the contracture.
I'm sure I'll miss my big round boobs, but I'm very ready for smaller ones again. My surgeon did a great job with the implants, so I have every reason to believe he'll do a great job with this surgery as well. He said there will be a lollipop scar, meaning around the areola and straight down the underside of the breast... just like a lollipop.🍭
I'm going to start an "explant" label for my posts about this issue.
