Because I've been way too broke to be able to afford the classes and didn't have a pole at home. Now I'm in a position that I can fortunately do both (thanks to all of you beautiful people)! I'm god awful at it right now (funnily enough, 18 years of technical training is not transferable AT ALL), but hopefully in time I'll be slaying it and you can all enjoy the progress. This goes to prove that it's okay to be not great at something and that practice will make perfect. I'm going to get so STRONG.
